It connects the lower, physical energy centers with the higher, more spiritual ones. It is through the Heart Chakra that we allow ourselves to love, be loved, and receive our good from the Universe. When this center is open and flowing, we have healthy relationships with our loved ones and ourselves, and life moves along more easily. When it’s blocked, the opposite is true.Unfortunately, most of us have at least partially blocked Heart Chakras. Who hasn’t experienced sadness, betrayal, or loss? The harder we hold onto these, the more we constrict the natural flow of good vibes. So working with the Heart Chakra can create some very real and positive changes in your life. Rose quartz is the perfect stone to aid in this process. Crystals are powerful healing tools, and because rose quartz is all about restoring love wherever love is lacking, it naturally resonates with the Heart Center. Rose quartz is a pink, translucent stone readily available at almost any new age, rock, jewelry, or bead shop. You may also want to pick up a hematite or other dark-colored stone, in case you need some grounding during the meditation.Once you get your hands on a piece of rose quartz (whether it’s large, small, or a piece of jewelry), you can work on healing your own personal heartaches using this meditation.
