My invitation is to stop all movement of your mind away from truth so that you can discover directly, for yourself, this jewel that is alive within you. – GangajiWe are living in an unusual time, a time when ordinary people with limitations and conditioned habits have the opportunity to awaken to self-realization – and not only to awaken, but to stay true to what is real in the face of thoughts, emotions, desires, and other obstacles that may arise in consciousness. This new book from Gangaji points us directly to the diamond of truth that we really are. It offers us clear support in allowing any seeming obstacle to become a conduit for deeper awakening as the diamond is polished naturally by life itself.Freedom & ResolveThe Living Edge of SurrenderFollowing a deep experience of awakening comes the challenge of being true to that experience in everyday life. This distinctive little book cuts to the heart of the ego’s most subtle strategies for control. Through the gift of self-inquiry and your own deepest desire to live a true and authentic life, Gangaji invites you to discover the effortless simplicity of a resolve so total, every aspect of daily life is used naturally for deepening surrender. You Are That! What you are searching for is who you already are. This is Gangaji’s essential message. Edited from live interactions around the globe, these two volumes are a comprehensive offering of Gangaji’s teachings. Topics in Volume I include the nature of mind and thoughts, meditation, relationships, and facing the fear of death. Volume II exposes the root cause of personal suffering and addresses questions concerning the search for enlightenment, self-doubt, parenting, and sex………………About Gangaji:Gangaji, an American born teacher and author, has traveled the globe since 1990, speaking with spiritual seekers from all walks of life. Her message is powerful in its clarity and simplicity: True peace and lasting fulfillment are not only our birthright, they are the essential nature of our being. Gangaji invites you to discover the possibility of living your life in the freedom and joy of simply being. My own review:Gangaji achieved enlightenment by the teachings of Poonja or as some call him Papaji. Similarly to Andrew Cohen. These books would fall in the spirituality category, and are widely used for self-improvement. (similarly to Eckhart Tolle who is a type of spiritual teacher)She advocates mostly the process of self-inquiry similarly to her guru Papaji.
