Bruce Friedrich – Meet Your Meat
PETA
[1 DVD – ISO]
Description
“Meet Your Meat” (Full DVD + Multimedia Content) .iso 6x9First of all, let me start off by stating that I am not one of those handcuff-myself-to-a-tree-and-splash-red-paint-on-fur-wearers kind of people (no disrespect to them) but watching this video made me become more conscious of where my food comes from. I am not trying to convert anyone or force information down your throats (viewing this page and/or downloading this product is strictly voluntary on your part). You don’t have to agree with the politics of the messenger (PETA, who made this DVD available) to receive the message. PETA does a lot of things that I consider unethical and hypocritical (and have IMHO trivialized the “cause” in many ways), but it doesn’t make the message on this DVD untrue. Though I may personally disagree with PETA on most points, my hat goes off to them for their undercover investigations into animal cruelty. A picture is worth a thousand words but a video speaks volumes. This DVD is not about PETA (the organization), it’s about animals. It’s not about becoming a vegan or vegetarian, it’s about be(com)ing humane.Just a little warning: If you are a compassionate or conscientious person, you probably won’t want to eat meat (whether from a health stand point or a respect for life stand point) from factory farms (which is where most of our meat supply comes from unfortunately) after watching the DVD. But that’s not the point of my sharing this DVD. Whether you want to eat animals or not after viewing this DVD is a personal choice. My purpose in sharing this DVD is to make people aware of the inhumane treatment of our fellow earthlings. This product isn’t a rip (it’s the full DVD) because a rip of just the main movie wouldn’t do this DVD justice. First off, there’s more than just the main movie (“Meet Your Meat”) in fact there are about 20+ movies available by popping this DVD into your DVD player and second of all there’s multimedia content available to you by popping this DVD in computer.I am not a member of PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) but much respect to PETA for a) producing such a DVD b) making such a DVD freely available and c) making it legal to freely share it with others. I am not endorsing PETA (the organization), I am merely promoting this DVD.Videos on this DVD:ANIMALS FOR FOOD Meet Your Meat Victims of Indulgence Pig Farm Investigations Hope for the Hopeless Silent Suffering Meet Your Meat (en español)ANIMALS FOR CLOTHING Trapping and Fur Farms McCartney Fur Farm Expose Indian Leather Investigation Fur StingANIMALS FOR EXPERIMENTATION UNC Uncovered Unnecessary Fuss Silver Spring Monkeys Inside Biosearch Breaking Barriers No Gravy for the CatANIMALS FOR ENTERTAINMENT Cheap Tricks Circus Elephants The Circus Carson & Barnes Elephant Training Tiger’s Eye Rodeo Bullfighting SchoolGENERAL ANIMAL EXPLOITATION “Free Me” (strong lyrics) Veganism in a Nutshell Slaughterhouse Footage (loud audio) PF Video Their Future in Your HandsNTSC with no subtitles.Multimedia content…Audio Veganism in a NutshellLiterature Christianity and Vegetarianism Cruelty Free Living Goods News for All Creation (full book) NY Times Article Reasons to be a Vegan/Vegetarian The Myths of “Free Range” and “Humane Slaughter” They Die Piece by Piece Vegan Starter Pack Vegan: The Ethics of Eating by Eric Markus (full book) Vegetarian Living What Would Jesus Eat… Today?
