A strength coach and trainer of bodybuilders, Charles designed this program for the specific purpose of decreasing body fat and improving body composition in his athletes. The theory ( albeit, primitive now) was by using large muscle groups, pairing exercises up, increasing the repetition number on each exercise, and decreasing the rest interval between groupings of exercises he could increase the release of growth hormone into the blood, which would have a corresponding effect on body composition. Charles still uses a variation of this program today in conjunction with “Biosignature” Modulation to regulate hormonal levels in his athletes.
