Also, there are several new and important subtleties in the hand holds and positions which are vital to the cover and and the proper packet movements. This is not a pass for beginners, but, actually, it would likely be beneficial for beginners to start their journey with Steven’s work, since he has meticulously studied every aspect of the pass and has come up with solutions to many obstacles.The Rotation Pass is a turnover pass, again with new subtleties of hand positions and a very different take on the turn. This a very effective new version of the turnover pass and it is actually not very difficult. The cover that results from Steven’s new hand positions and movements makes it invisible from most angles and easy to execute with natural motions of turning the deck and squaring.As a bonus, Steven has included instructions for his method of polishing the edges of a deck of cards…a valuable thing to learn.Steven’s instructions are a model of clear, detailed teaching, leaving no stone unturned. He goes to great lengths to make sure that he is clearly conveying every detail of everything that needs to be learned and he succeeds. This is exemplary teaching…far superior to the great majority of magic instruction.The DVD is home-produced with no frills, but fine quality. It is thankfully free ofthe Vegas theatrics of so many current DVDs…no ear-splitting rock music, no “creative” camera zooms, and no faux “street” posing. We don’t even see Youell’s face…we see what is important…his hands doing the work.This is a “must have” for any card magician.
