Hi guys, This is my re-encode of the VCD file kindly provided by Drnannlp here: am NOT taking credit for this, I only find this one easier for sharing becasue of the comparable quality and considerable file size reduction.The original was MPEGAV DAT file from the VCD which was 522.60 MB I basically extracted the raw MPEG1 and reencoded to AVI using the following:AVI fourcc: XVID82 Mb (82 Mb), Length 0:52:18, 1 audio stream(s) MP3 96 kbps joint stereovideo bitrate 123 Kbps, 25.0 fps, resolution 352*268 (4:3) square pixel ratiovideo condec config: profile @ level : AS @ L5single pass 8.10 target quantizer, quantization type H.263motion search precision: 6 – ultra highthis we get a great quality AVI at 15% of the original sizeI would like feedback on the video qualityEnjoy
